Home to our renowned Mastersteak BBQ Cooking classes, the BBQ Court offers an inviting alfresco-style dining experience. Tucked away from the hotel’s hustle and bustle, this secluded space comfortably accommodates up to 100 seated guests. Perfect for family reunions, birthdays, or milestones, the BBQ Court is available for exclusive hire or can be tailored to your needs with cordoned-off areas. With microphone capability included, this space is ideal for creating memorable celebrations in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

Grill Court
The Grill Court is the heart of the Norman Hotel, grab a seat and settle in – it’s where the action happens. Guests enjoy watching the theatre of our grill masters cook up to 80 steaks to perfection and it’s also the number one vantage point for people watching. On weekdays, you can catch the business lunches crowd; on Fridays, you’ll see the corporate crowd mixing and mingling then during the weekends and evenings you’ll see families and tourists strolling through. A great space to take it all in.
Exclusive Space Terms
Minimum spends apply for the exclusive use of the BBQ & Grill Courts (paid 14days prior to the function).
All food, drink and other requirements go towards this minimum spend. If the spend isn’t reached, the balance is charged as a room hire fee at the end of the event.
If you would like your guests to pay individually or you would prefer not to have to meet a minimum spend, we have a number of lovely semi-private tables available in the restaurant.

For catering, our Norman Hotel Restaurant Menu is available in all function spaces, alternatively, enjoy ordering from our Set Menu or Platter Menu.
