Duty Manager & Bar Supervisor (Full-time and Part-Time)

We’re an iconic Brisbane Steakhouse looking for the right person to join our team. You will need to be an organised leader, with high attention to detail in order to be successful in this role.

Our Duty Managers & Bar Supervisors are exceptional.  They have beautiful customer service skills, think quick on their feet (to keep up with the fast pace running of the hotel) and have a strong understanding of restaurant systems, procedures and standards.

Daily activities include:

  • Overseeing front of house staff and maintaining overall quality control
  • Leading and motivating a team
  • Overseeing cleanliness, presentation and brand integrity with a knack for multi-tasking
  • Creating rapport with regular customers
  • General waiting on tables assisting where needed
  • Daily cash reconciliation, processing and completing management reports

Essential Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate, encourage and train staff
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • TAB/Gaming experience an advantage but not necessary
  • Some wine & cocktail knowledge
  • Available to work on weekends
  • A current holder of RSA & RSG & Covid Safe for Dining-in certificates

Qualified Chef (Salary & Casual)

Qualified Chef – Short Order

About the position

Working with the short order team, pan work is essential. You must be able to multi-task and execute daily services sticking to strict timings.

A calm working demeanour is essential as well as being able to work within a team environment.

Both casual and salary positions are on offer.

Grill Chef

About the position

The Grill Chef is key to our success and we are searching for someone who is dedicated to their craft. Working on an open chargrill and cooking numerous steaks at any one time the position requires someone with a level head and who can orchestrate the smooth running of a busy service.

You must have a calm working demeanour, personal presentation and hygiene is a must as we work in an open kitchen and often customers will come up for a “chat at the grill”.

Finer Details
  • We pay well above industry award
  • Av. 40 -45 hours per week (av)
  • Positions are open now for immediate start, working under the supervision of the Kitchen Management.

Bar Attendants

We’re an iconic Brisbane Steakhouse and Garden Bar with all the extras; Gaming, TAB, Cooking School & Functions.

Our Bar & Wait Team are exceptional!  They have beautiful customer service skills, they keep up with our fast pace busy hotel and they work as a team.

We are seeking enthusiastic team members who are willing to learn, available weekends and evenings. They must have a happy disposition, be customer-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the position
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Exceptional Food and beverage service
  • Maintaining restaurant cleanliness including table clearing, glass and plate collection
