KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

  • Two salary positions are available
  • On-site Parking
  • Non-cooking position
THE POSITION

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of kitchen operations and administrative tasks.  This role is a non-cooking position, more a leadership position supporting the Executive Chef ensuring that the kitchen team can perform at their absolute best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage & support your kitchen team
• Run the pass during service
• Weekly stocktakes and daily ordering
• Roster management
• Maintain and ensure compliance to establish food quality and standards
• Maintain kitchen presentation, cleanliness and product integrity

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for excellent service with a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to make timely decisions and keep calm under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and an approachable leader
• Good attention to detail
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment

GRILL CHEF

  • 4-day working week
  • Great work-life balance
  • Onsite parking
THE POSITION

We are on the lookout for a Grill Chef to complete our team. This person will be an extremely confident Grill Chef with a passion for meat. They will be an excellent time manager and have the skills to cook a variety of steaks on the grill with multiple donenesses at any one time.

In addition to cooking during service, you will also be responsible for portioning some of our award-winning beef as well as making our popular house-made beef sausages.

This is a team position with one goal, and you will be working alongside two grill chefs to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the section.

FINER DETAILS

Due to the high level of skill required we are offering a 45 hr / 4-day working week. You will also be rewarded with a salary above the industry award.
Sponsorship will also be considered after the mandatory probation period.

Wait & Bar Attendants

We’re an iconic Brisbane Steakhouse and Garden Bar with all the extras; Gaming, TAB, Cooking School & Functions.

Our Bar & Wait Team are exceptional!  They have beautiful customer service skills, they keep up with our fast pace busy hotel and they work as a team.

We are seeking enthusiastic team members who are willing to learn, available weekends and evenings. They must have a happy disposition, be customer-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the positions
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Exceptional Food and beverage service
  • Maintaining restaurant cleanliness including table clearing, glass and plate collection
Essential Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • Bar experience
  • TAB/Gaming experience an advantage, but not necessary
  • Some wine & cocktail knowledge
  • Current holder of RSA & RSG & Covid Safe for Dining-in certificates
